The Apple Watch may be a little late to the smartwatch party, but in usual Apple fashion it sets the trend as if it invented the genre.
The difference is the depth of the software in the device in terms of iOS 2, the quality of hardware and materials and how well it pairs with the iPhone. It is a fully realized piece of technology and an impressive first run for a new form factor from Apple.
