A fan of Caroline Stanbury? Or just intrigued by her? Find out what the ultimate lady of London thinks about being a reality TV star
and how she magically gets rid of a hangover in 30 minutes.
Editor and founder of SheerLuxe Georgie Coleridge Cole heads down to the place to be and place to be seen: The Kings Road, London. Usually the haunt of the Made in Chelsea cast, today Georgie is meeting a different reality star. Enter hit TV show Ladies of London cast member, Caroline Stanbury.
Whilst sipping on a berry smoothie, the former entrepreneur and founder of Gift Library, Caroline explains that since her appearance on Ladies of London her global fame has made her life spiral into a very different direction from running a business.
Now, Caroline Stanbury is a well- known name that resonates across the world, from America to Australia. And it’s no surprise – her feisty personality and envious ability to party is enough to convert fans. That’s without her impressive fashion sense and iconic ombre hair, created by celebrity hair stylist Nicky Lee state side as well as London’s famous Neville hair and beauty salon to ensure the perfect gradation, which Caroline insists is imperative.
But it’s not all Hermes Birkin bags and Isabel Marant buys; Caroline goes on to mention that she does experience embarrassing moments that make her cringe, and the human desire to be liked kicks in as she worries that the reality TV show may spur people to dislike her.
Caroline also lets us in on her miracle hangover cure, courtesy of Celebrity doc Dr Joshi of the Joshi Clinic in Marylebone, London. His concoction, delivered through an IV, revitalises a hungover body to full health in just 30 minutes – a must-try apparently.
And the health kicks don’t end there; Caroline mentions the highly publicised 21 day detox plan, also curated by Dr Joshi, that she is currently following as well as her recent stint, with her friend Natalie Imbruglia, at the health retreat VIVAMAYR in Germany.
Caroline is also looking forward to her 40th birthday party, themed around American Hustle. She says that she is content with her age and exactly where she wants to be in life. Collaborations with various brands such as Poppy London and Rae Feather are also in the pipeline.
Whatever she does, we’re sure that the self proclaimed ‘tanorexic’ – ‘part of the wallpaper’ at London’s Chiltern Firehouse – will be another great addition to her brand. She remains the best example of self-branding and self-marketing that we know.
